Pricing

A ballpark figure is about $850-$950 for a water softener, but there are variables that must be known before a recommendation can be made:

How many bathrooms does your house have?
How many people live in your house?
How hard is your water?

To measure the hardness of your water, send a water sample in a plastic or glass bottle with no metal parts, with a check for $10, to Ozark Water Service, 114 Spring St., Sulphur Springs, AR 72768. Request the R.O.P.E. test. If the hardness comes back above 10, then a water softener is recommended.

After receiving your results, please e-mail envirohomeinfo@mindspring.com for additional information.
