Emergency water is a concern for individuals wondering what happens when there is interruption in their water service.
One client called and asked a water expert's opinion of the British
Berkefield, the "Big Berkey," a unit which is a gravity-fed emergency or camping water filter system.
He replied that the AquaRain, a bigger and better version of the Berkefield, costs less and avoids customs fees.
This type of gravity-feed microfiltration system is not for long-term use. For one thing, it does not remove dissolved solids, such as lead and fluoride.
