WATERCHECK™

The NEW Watercheck™ is a series of 73 separate tests of drinking water for chemical and bacteriological contamination. The Watercheck is the most complete and meaningful drinking water analysis available to the public - at reasonable prices.

The 73 parameters included in the Watercheck represent all the common contaminants which the U.S. EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) has found in drinking water - and identified as unhealthy or unpleasant. It covers everything that a homeowner living in a non-agricultural area should be concerned with.

In addition, as an added bonus, a test for MTBE (the gasoline additive getting into some water supplies) is included in the test.

The Watercheck covers all contaminants which the E.P.A. has determined are found with some regularity in water supplies. It does not include those chemical compounds which sometimes occur in agricultural areas or industrial products which occur only rarely. The Pesticide Option below includes all of these compounds.

PESTICIDE OPTION
(This option is automatically included in your Enviro Health order.)

The occurrence of pesticides and herbicides in drinking water supplies is rare...but it does happen. This likelihood, however remote, has led the U.S. E.P.A. to expand the list of these compounds considered to be hazardous to health.

PESTICIDES AND HERBICIDES

Alachlor
Aldrin
Atrazine
Chlordane
Dichloran
Dieldren
Endrin
Heptachlor
Heptachlor Epoxide
Hexachlorobenzene
Hexachlorapentadiene
Lindane
Methoxychlor
PCBs
Pentachloronitrobenzene
Simazine
Toxaphene
Trifluralin
Silvex 2,4,5-TP
2,4-D 0.1

These compounds rarely occur in drinking water, but in sufficient quantity they are toxic to humans.

People living in agricultural areas are more vulnerable to this type of contamination than are those living in non-farm areas of the country.

The people at NTL want to be sure that anyone concerned about pesticides and drinking water can have their water analyzed for these compounds...conveniently and at an affordable price. The "Pesticide Option" is such a service.
